Our third annual SCIFI/FANTASY FEST celebrated a variety of fandoms with more than 3000 attendees over the course of three days (July 28-30, 2017). To help keep things lively, we were joined by actor John Anderson (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) and members of the hit podcast Sneak Attack! We also welcomed dozens of artists, artisans and authors to share their wares and discuss their various crafts. Our Costume Contest featured a wide variety of familiar faces taking center stage to a packed-out audience. There was no shortage of exciting ways to pass the time: around-the-clock tabletop gaming, prop building and chainmail workshops, a live D&D session, board game demos, continuous sessions of Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator and our custom-designed--and highly popular--Breakout Room featuring time travel to Victorian England and the bother of impending doom. There was also a plethora of panels on topics such as gaming, Star Wars, cosplay, writing, comics and even the paranormal. This was certainly our biggest SCIFI/FANTASY FEST yet, and 2018 is shaping-up to be even more epic!
